Operations Program Manager and NPI Material Planner (Zipline International Inc., South San Francisco, CA): Establishes, monitors and ensures adherence to left-to-right material drive plan to achieve Clear to Build by the date and in the quantities established by corporate Program Management; Identifies risks to requested schedule and quantities identified through monitoring of left-to-right material drive plan; Monitors cost deliverables for EV and DV builds. Integrates and drives achievement of cost targets across NPI and material planning; Oversees and executes the Safe Launch Process schedule and deliverables; Integrate and drive achievement of schedule and operational goals across manufacturing, material planning, manufacturing quality, supplier quality, logistics, field support engineering and product lifecycle management; Drives Supply Chain readiness and handover from DV to ramp and production phases; Monitors excess/obsolescence planning, and ensures that Material Planning is minimizing obsolescence costs; Ensures that Manufacturing is prepared to begin production of new baseline configurations on broadcast cut-in dates; Defines operational success metrics for ramp: Component and full assembly build rates, manufacturing yield / fallout rates, IQC yield / fallout rates; Monitors production and IQC yields required at specific points in the production ramp; Provides IQC should vs. actual cost reporting during ramp; Establishes and maintains cost master for production materials, labor and transportation associated with each production month; and Provides Material Review Board governance in accordance with internal Standard Operating Procedures. In order to complete the above-mentioned tasks, the following skills and experience are required: Proficient in advanced MS Excel features: Queries, Power Pivots; Experience with inventory management, supply plan and production plan principles; Experience with MRP/WMS/TMS; Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally with competing priorities; and Demonstrated ability to analyze data to identify trends that can drive deliverables. Requires a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Industrial Engineering/Operations Management or related field, and at least one (1) year of experience in a New Product Introduction, Material Planning or Operations Program Management role, or related occupation. In the alternative, the company will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent, and at least five (5) years of experience in the above-mentioned fields and occupations.
