Job Title: HVAC / Boiler Experienced Residential Installer - 6+ Years of Residential Experience

Pay Scale: Up to $75,000-90,000 Annually
Work Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm with overtime as needed.
Primary Job Function: To install heating and air conditioning systems to company standards providing the customer with a high quality experience. Supervise the work of other installers while encouraging high quality and timely job performance.
Required Qualifications:
The role requires all Level 1-5 qualifications, plus additional skills and certifications such as Level 3 tools, valid EPA certification for Level 1 and 2, and a universal refrigeration license. The candidate must be proficient in installing forced air furnaces, a/c units, boilers, minisplits units, as well as, both round and rectangular duct, measuring ductwork, and installing equipment accessories. They should have a basic understanding of complex sheet metal fittings, and the ability to complete simple low-voltage connections on HVAC systems. Strong customer relations, effective communication skills, and the ability to complete paperwork and change orders are essential. Additionally, the role involves testing line sets and setting pressures during start-ups, as well as supervising and training others.
Duties:
This is a higher level role and the best person for this role will be troubleshooting issues, training other technicians on best practices, installation code and company processes and procedures. Daily duties involve concientiously operating a company vehicle, confidently and efficiently installing systems with little oversight and with a very low rate of return repairs. The best person for this position will be encouraging team members to operate with integrity and excellence. Responsibilities include reporting issues with installations, tools, or vehicles, and working well with customers, co-workers, and subcontractors. Jobs should be completed independently from start to finish, while maintaining professionalism in appearance and attitude. The role also requires presenting innovative solutions, completing tasks within labor budgets, and handling processes such as job packets and time cards. Additional tasks include training other team members on best practices, maintaining NATE certification, and fulfilling other assigned duties.

Certain key business indicators that will measure the effectiveness of the Installer Level 3. These include the following:

• Customer satisfaction with less than 5% call back ratio
• High level of demonstrated desire to learn and teach
• Level to which dress code is adhered
• Properly completed and timeliness of paperwork/processes
• Level to which company procedures are adhered to
• High level of self sufficiency coupled with the ability to install a high quality system with straight lines and efficient processes
• Pass on instruction to others and observe other installers gaps in knowledge and fill those gaps in an encouraging and effective manner.
• Level to which safety policy is adhered to
