Installation Technician - Insight Recruitment

Extensive travel is required in this role, and you will be provided with a company vehicle and all expenses paid for including a per diem.

What You'll Do:

• Perform installation tasks: cable pulls, terminations, device installation, rack fabrication
• Coordinate with lead and senior technicians to meet project requirements for scope, budget, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
• Work with Service Technicians and gain experience in various technologies, including:
• Access Control
• Audio/Visual
• Fire Alarm
• Healthcare Communications
• Sound Systems
• Video Surveillance

Requirements:

• Experience in low-voltage or related fields (eg electrical)
• Effective communication skills with employees and customers
• Ability to climb and work from ladders or scaffolding
• Read and interpret architectural blueprints and schematics
• Basic computer knowledge
• Valid Driver’s License and clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Pass a pre-employment background check
• Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as needed
• Willingness to travel (up to 50%)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• High School Diploma or equivalent
