This is a hybrid position in Buffalo, New York.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain automated cutting systems and material handling equipment at customer sites across the U.S. and internationally.
- Travel extensively, typically leaving on Monday and returning on Friday, with most weekends spent at home.
- Apply mechanical and electrical expertise to assemble, troubleshoot, and service complex systems.
- Train customer operators on maintenance procedures and software functionalities.
- Provide exceptional customer support, troubleshooting issues via phone or video as needed.
- Document installation processes, costs, and service reports while maintaining clear communication with internal teams.
- Follow detailed procedures for equipment startups, ensuring precision and high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven mechanical and electrical skills with 3+ years of experience in a relevant technical field, or 5+ years in service-related roles requiring travel.
- Proficiency with hand tools, low voltage systems, and pneumatic systems.
- Backgrounds in Auto Mechanics, HVAC, Military, or Facility Technician roles are highly transferable.
- Experience working with service orders and interacting directly with customers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows.
- Physically capable of handling the demands of the role.
