Responsibilities

• Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; rejecting and quarantining unacceptable materials.
• Approves in-process production by confirming material on MOs to specifications; conducting visual verification to applicable; communicating required adjustments to compliance supervisor.
• Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; and inputting data into quality database.
• Approve finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
• Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with all regulations.
• Accurately document the results of the inspections and testing.
• Assist in the writing and updating inspection procedures, protocol, and checklists.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Must be able to understand inspection drawings and material specifications.
• Must have experience/be able to utilize an Optical Comparator, Vernier, Caliper and Pin Gauges.
