About the Job
Provides technical support to the quality and quality engineering (QE) functions | Conducts quality control
(QC) inspections on products, materials, components, parts, etc., at various stages of the production process
to ensure compliance with established quality and reliability standards | Captures and analyzes statistical data
from processes to either confirm compliance with established standards or identify deviations from standards |
Recommends new or enhanced methods, procedures and standards
Major Position Responsibilities:· Assists with repetitive and routine inspections, checks, tests and sampling procedures of standard
parts, units, equipment, or materials
· Supports with inspections of purchased parts, subassemblies or finished company products
according to well-defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or electrical
measurements.
· Reworks or rejects subassemblies or finished products as required. Performs audits to ensure
standards of quality are maintained.
· Accurately documents the results of the inspections and testing.
· Coordinates calibration of test equipment and fixtures.
· Assists in the writing and updating of inspection procedures, protocol and checklists.
· Requires ability to interpret prints, schematics, and drawings.
· Performs manual tasks according to established procedures
· Acquires basic skills to perform routine tasks
· Develops understanding in an analytical or scientific method or operational process
· Works with close supervision
Basic Qualifications:Required Education:
Attending a Vocational / Technical School or internal training program
Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education & Experience or Skillset
Preferred Education: Vocational/Technical Training Degree
Discipline/Major: Technical training preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Mathematical skills. Computer skills. Technical expertise. Detail oriented.
Pay Range (USD):Min $33,250.00 Annu. Max $61,750.00 Annu.Pay Transparency Statement:The salary range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum for salary for this position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
