POSITION DESCRIPTION

• This position is created to handle inside sales tasks in support of the outside sales executives for VIKING Americas. The Inside Sales duties will encompass sales of trade, tradables, life rafts, PPE, Boats&Davits, and any product on our catalog as well as sales of products and spare parts via service partner stations in his territory using SAP. Candidates must be able to work in the US or hold a valid US working VISA. The position is for our Doral, FL office.

RESPONSIBILITIES

INSIDE SALES (IS) is responsible for:

• Responsible for the SAP quotation to designated customers;
• Email or call the regular customers to clarify quotes and get the orders;
• Develop meaningful relationships with customers and partner stations to encourage trust and loyalty;
• Follow up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process;
• Understand and demonstrate the product or service to the customer;
• Set and meet sales goals and objectives set by leadership;
• Improve sales skills to increase sales success rates;
• Promote sales of the company’s whole product range and quote them via SHIPSERV or WEBc systems;
• Develop and maintain a professional relationship with service stations.
• Plus, anything deemed necessary to benefit the Company.

QUALITY & RULES

Handle NCRs on behalf of customers for defective products under the ISO Quality system.

Follow the company policies and procedures under VMS (Viking Management System) and local employee handbook.
