Job DescriptionObjective
At DICA, the Inside Sales role plays a crucial part in our company’s success by driving revenue through lead generation, customer outreach, and sales closure. With a focus on maintaining comprehensive product/service knowledge and delivering compelling sales presentations, this position ensures effective communication with prospective customers. By consistently achieving sales targets, maintaining accurate customer records, and seamless collaboration both internal and external, the Inside Sales role fosters strong customer relationships and fuels growth.
Core Focus
The Inside Sales’ primary responsibility revolves around prioritizing safety, maintaining quality and efficiency standards, and leveraging comprehensive product knowledge to drive sales success. This includes proactive cold calling and prompt response to inbound inquiries to ensure a steady flow of potential leads. Additionally, conducting virtual demonstrations, following up on proposals, and updating customer records in the CRM system are vital to maintaining a productive sales pipeline and maximizing closure rates. Regular attendance at team meetings fosters alignment with overall strategies while staying updated on industry trends ensures adaptability and competitiveness in the marketplace. To fulfill the requirements of this role, Inside Sales must demonstrate the capability to perform the necessary job duties per DICA’s established standard of work. Principal Roles and Responsibilities:
- Account Management
- Conduct regular check-ins with existing clients to assess satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities (Bi-weekly/Weekly)
- Collaborate with clients to understand their evolving needs and align company offerings accordingly (As needed/Quarterly)
- Collaboration
- Participate in sales meetings to discuss strategies, share insights, and align goals (Weekly)
- Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure consistent messaging and effective lead generation (As needed)
- Customer Outreach
- Proactively reach out to potential leads via phone calls, emails, and networking events (Daily/Weekly)
- Follow up with leads to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel (Daily/Weekly)
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Regularly update CRM with client interactions, notes, and progress updates (As needed/Daily)
- Analyze CRM data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement (Weekly/Monthly)
- Drive Sales
- Set clear sales targets and develop strategies to achieve them (Monthly/Quarterly)
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling additional products or services (Monthly)
- Lead Qualification
- Evaluate leads based on predefined criteria to determine their potential value (As needed/Daily)
- Conduct initial qualifying conversations to assess fit and interest (Daily/Weekly)
- Market Research
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies (Weekly/Monthly)
- Gather customer feedback and insights to refine product offerings and enhance customer experience (As needed/Quarterly)
- Order Processing
- Process incoming orders promptly and accurately, ensuring fulfillment meets customer expectations (As needed/Daily)
- Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to manage inventory and streamline order processing (Daily/Weekly)
- Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on product features, benefits, and use cases through regular training sessions (Monthly/Quarterly)
- Educate clients on product offerings and demonstrate how they address specific pain points or challenges (As needed/On-Demand)
- Quote/Proposal/Contract Negotiation and Creation
- Prepare customized quotes, proposals, and contracts tailored to client needs and preferences (As needed)
- Negotiate terms, pricing, and contract details to reach mutually beneficial agreements (As needed)
- Sales Reporting
- Generate regular sales reports to track performance against targets and KPIs (Weekly)
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement (Monthly/Quarterly)
- Sales Support
- Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction (As needed)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot problems and deliver solutions (As needed)
- Training and Development
- Stay updated on product knowledge and sales techniques through training (As needed)
Seek continuous improvement in sales skills and industry knowledge (As needed)
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (required)
- Fluent in English language (required)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification (preferred)
- HubSpot Inbound Marketing Certification (preferred)

Compensation & Benefits:
- Full-time
- $50,000-60,000 annual salary
- Hours 8:00 am-5:00 pm CST
- 10 days per year Paid vacation, Increases each year
