The Opportunity:
The Inside Sales Rep will manage the sales process for existing and new customers, as well as some strategic larger customers. This includes but is not limited to checking inventory, scheduling transfers and inputting orders. They will work to find new sales opportunities within the existing customers. This position will be responsible for the incoming leads and converting them to customers. This person will work closely with the Outside Sales Team, Operations and Internal Operations. This position can be report but would prefer to be based out of the Salt Lake City Warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively seeks sales leads through data mining, online searches, competitive and industry intelligence and leads from Outside Sales team. Follows up on these leads and qualifies opportunities.
- Responsible for on-going sales support activities with existing and new sales business.
- Manage the overall account relationships by providing strategic service and support to customer base.
- Enters sales leads into Customer Relationship Management software, updates with progress and provides reports as requested.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience and success with lubricants, fuels and/or chemicals preferred; or similar industrial, commercial or automotive-related products and service industries
- Establishing and meeting customer service expectations
- Completing necessary administrative paperwork carefully, thoroughly and on time
- Defending the business from competitors
- Experience working in SalesForce.com a plus.
