The ISR is responsible for keying orders into the system, conducting follow-up phone calls, and placing orders both internally and externally to support customer requirements. The ISR is responsible for all communication between the various departments and our customers. The Retail Channel ISR will learn to exercise the highest quality of phone etiquette, practice a high degree of accuracy, and complete timely response to customer requests.
The Retail Channel ISR will work in conjunction with the Retail Channel outside reps to create demand for products in the Retail Dealer Channel. The ability to understand our business will be a major key to success in the role. We will provide an opportunity to collaborate, partner and take initiative.
This role will need to develop relationships with the Pro Desk teams and key location team members. This role will require excellent attention to detail to ensure all customers purchase order and accounting requirements are met with each order.
Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
• Process orders for material received by email, fax or customer order processing systems.
• Compile and verify the accuracy of data to be entered.
• Examines records and Informs customers of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by a customer using mail, e-mail, or telephone.
• Enter order into an automated system and compute the total cost and expected delivery.
• Understands and utilizes customers computer platform and maintains records and pricing in Commerce Hub and The Quote Center.
• Confers with production and dispatch personnel to expedite or trace shipments.
• Investigate overdue, damaged, or shortages in shipments for customers.
• Analyzes customer complaints, referring failures to designated departments for investigation, updating customers on a timely basis.
• Educate the sales and operations teams at the branch.
• Educates customer on the company’s products, and assists them through the order process.
• Other duties, as assigned and requested by management.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 75% of the time while operating a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, printer, and/or copy machine.
• Must be able to move about the office and position self to access file cabinets, copy machine, etc.
• Must be able to regularly move or lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.

Required credentials:
• College degree preferred, but relevant work experience may be considered.
