Peninsula Iron Works has a long history of offering a wide range of equipment and services, including repair and rebuilding crushers, feeders, & conveyors. Our products are used in a variety of industries, including mining, steel mills, power generation, cement, pulp and paper. The business is part of a larger organization called TerraSource Global headquartered in St. Louis Missouri, an OEM manufacturer of Gundlach, Jeffrey Rader, Pennsylvania Crusher, and Elgin Separation Solutions brands. The business is further supported by a worldwide manufacturing and supply chain base.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
PIW is looking for an experienced estimating and sales leader. This candidate will drive growth and help to improve estimating and sales processes across the team. They will assist in meeting the goals set by management to help move the company toward growth. Should be comfortable making important decisions that directly affect P&L on projects. We are fast moving team that works heavily in the rebuild side of manufacturing and it is critical to have the ability to get project information to the floor quickly and accurately. This person will be responsible for working closely with the project management team to keep management and customers updated on the project status. Candidate must have a working knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D modeling software such as Inventor or Solidworks. Experience using these platforms is a is a plus.
Qualifications:
•An engineering degree is preferred, but not required with proper experience.
•Minimum of 5 years of experience in estimating and sales in the heavy industrial manufacturing space.
•Must have a solid understanding of machining, fabrication, and mechanical processes.
•Must have the ability to read and understand detailed manufacturing drawings.
•Must be reliable, punctual, organized, and have solid interpersonal communication skills.
•Must be comfortable interfacing directly with customers and able to effectively communicate in either written or verbal form.
Travel:
Occasional, less than 10%
