As an Inside Sales Representative, you’ll be at the heart of our sales and marketing efforts, bridging technical expertise with customer-centric solutions. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual ready to make an impact in a growing industry by identifying new opportunities, nurturing existing relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development (60%)
- Proactively prospect, identify, and close new business opportunities to position our technology for commercial success.
- Manage inbound leads, ensuring seamless technical coordination for product qualifications.
- Respond to e-commerce inquiries via email, chat, and phone, ensuring prompt and accurate communication.
- Support market research on trends, competitor analysis, and pricing strategies, providing actionable insights to the Marketing teams.
- Collaborate with Marketing to follow up on leads from campaigns and conventions, testing and validating strategies to maximize results.
- Develop a strong technical understanding of product properties and applications, refining value propositions to enhance market success.
Account Management (25%)
- Cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships to foster loyalty and satisfaction.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to grow revenue within existing accounts.
- Act as the primary contact for assigned accounts, addressing issues and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed CRM records, including customer interactions and business needs.
- Assist in developing strategic account plans and assessing customer buying processes.
Administrative Support (15%)
- Generate sales reports and performance metrics to support the Sales and Marketing teams
- Coordinate order management updates, ensuring timely and accurate communications with customers.
Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a Science-related field (Chemistry/Engineering preferred.
- Experience
- Proven success in inside sales, B2B industrial distribution, pricing management, or technical sales.
- Knowledge of Engineered Fluids and Lubrication applications is a plus.
- Strong negotiation, pricing, and forecasting skills are desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software, MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and sales forecasting.
