POSITION SUMMARY:
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) plays a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. ISR is responsible for identifying premium prospects, prospecting them, building relationships with the decision makers and scheduling appointments for the CEO.
This position is heavy cold calling/lead generating for Outside Sales Representative (OSR). The deal candidate will be local to the Twin Cities, MN but this position is open to any location/fully remote. No restriction on selling area (focus Midwest to start).
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Find new sales opportunities: Using cold-calling, trade shows, mailing lists, and industry directories to identify new customers. Secondary prospecting activities that support primary prospecting: ending direct emails, LinkedIn outreaches, etc.
- Research customers: Learn about a customer's business needs, annual revenue, and current vendors.
- Develop comprehensive understanding of our value proposition; ability to deliver to every qualified prospect contacted.
- Make multiple follow-up calls to assess customer needs and discuss solutions. Track activities in Autotask.
SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES:
- Interpersonal skills: excellent verbal and written communications skills, active listening and customer care. Confidently initiate conversations with potential clients, handling objections smoothly, and building rapport. Write clear, concise, and engaging emails that prompt responses and interest.
- Be a hunter. Strong prospecting abilities. Identify the characteristics of your most successful and satisfied customers to target similar prospects. Gather relevant information about prospects before reaching out, including their business needs and pain points.
- Ability to quickly build strong business relationships.
- Know service inside out, including all its features, benefits, and unique selling points.
- Presentation skills: able to communicate your message clearly and get to the point without unnecessary jargon. Use narratives that resonate with your audience, making your pitch more relatable and memorable. Adapt your pitch based on feedback and questions from your audience, showing that you value their input. Be ready to address any concerns or objections with well-thought-out responses.

ACCOUNTABLE METRICS:

- Activity Metrics: Make at least 80 strategic calls and outreach to target market a day.
- Engagement Metrics: Build and maintain a warm 1300 prospects database.
- Conversion Metrics: Schedule at least 3 qualified appointments per week.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- At least 1 year inside sales experience, preferably IT MSP or related
- Experience working with CRM
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong phone presence and experience; heavy cold calling
- Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
