Minneapolis Glass in Brooklyn Park, MN is looking to hire a full-time Inside Sales Representative to interact with customers, share product expertise and quote glass fabrication projects. This position earns a competitive salary based on experience. If you have related glass sales experience, you could earn up to $60,000+year and if you have some customer service or sales experience in manufacturing and need training on products and our systems, you earn at least $45,000/year. We are growing and have just built a new state-of-the-art facility to showcase our glass manufacturing capabilities. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN INSIDE SALES REP
As an Inside Sales Rep, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers by providing glass product information, quoting a potential sale and doing follow ups. You will partner with the customer to really understand the product request, consult pricing guidelines and drawings to generate detailed quotes that become sales!
You engage with customers via email, phone, or face-to-face. You will gain in-depth knowledge of the company's product offerings and manufacturing capabilities to assist customers in product selection. You collaborate with technical order entry and production team to ensure technical feasibility of quoted products. You will maintain accurate records of all quotes, customer communications and order statuses in the CRM and ERP system.
You are the face of Minneapolis Glass and make it all happen for our customers! Beyond quoting, this also includes being the primary point of contact for answering phones, directing calls, monitoring all email correspondence and managing the will-call process to notify customers of completed orders and material ready for pick-up.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of customer service, inside sales experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of glass products and glass fabrication process strongly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite and ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred.
WORK SCHEDULE
This inside sales position is full-time with a schedule of 8 AM - 4:30 PM Monday through Friday and no cold calling or travel is required.
