About the Job
Job Summary
Introduce and sell products/services to new and existing customer accounts. Maintain all aspects of assigned accounts including but not limited to setting account specifics, processing orders/samples, conducting product training, and resolving any customer concerns. Work with other sales representatives, customer service and management.
Responsibilities
- Research, obtain, and nurture new customer leads
- Develop weekly reports on opportunities & projects to be distributed to Inside Sales Manager
- Manage all aspects of assigned accounts
- Process orders, samples, and assist with customer inquiries via phone and email
- Assist in call queues
- Perform other duties, projects, and tasks assigned by Inside Sales Manager
- Be very knowledgeable about Versatrim and competitive products
- Assist with qualification of new customers
- Schedule & Conduct meetings/presentations with assigned accounts as needed
- Log all sales activities in Salesforce and update account information regularly
- Develop strong, ongoing relationships with coworkers and customers
- Meet and/or exceed sales quotas and all other key performance indicators
- Coordinate with other departments to optimize sales efforts
- Assist with off-site training or shows as needed (expenses paid)
- Cross train to assist with all customers as needed

Skills / Abilities
- Experience in flooring/trim sales or building products sales preferred
- Experience in account management/development

- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to learn new processes and positions to assist in other departments as needed
- Relationship building skills
Requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be legally authorized to work within the US
- Prior sales experience is a plus
