Job Details:
Join our dynamic team as a Permanent Inside Sales Representative specializing in fencing sales. This position is perfect for a self-motivated individual who is passionate about driving sales and providing exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for managing customer inventory programs, prospecting territory by cold calling, and executing all internal aspects of customer service and order fulfillment flawlessly.
Responsibilities:
- You will be responsible for selling our extensive line of fencing products to new and existing customers, leveraging your superior math skills and ability to read drawings.
- You will proactively identify potential problems and advise customers with prepared solutions or suggestions, instilling trust and building long-term relationships.
- You will be tasked with determining competitive pricing and merchandizing to get a premium where possible.
- You will manage customer inventory programs so that material levels do not become excessive and material does not become obsolete.
- You will be required to prospect territory by cold calling, identifying potential clients, and converting leads into sales.
- You will be expected to meet and exceed sales targets, demonstrating a drive for results and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience is required.
- You must have superior math skills and the ability to read drawings.
- Proven steel and fence industry experience is essential, ideally with 5+ years in a similar role.
- Proven sales experience, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- You must have a drive for results, consistently meeting or exceeding targets and striving to improve.
- You must be able to instill trust, building long-term relationships with customers and colleagues.
- You should have the ability to proactively identify potential problems and advise customers with prepared solutions or suggestions.
- You must have the capacity to execute all internal aspects of customer service and order fulfillment flawlessly.
- You should have experience in managing customer inventory programs.
- You must have experience in prospecting territory by cold calling, identifying potential clients, and converting leads into sales.
