We are a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) that has been in operation since 2010 specializing in providing janitorial/sanitation products to our customers.
We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative (in-office position) who will play a crucial role in building new business and maintaining current accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience selling janitorial and sanitation products, specifically to VA Hospitals and government entities.

We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative (in-office position) who will play a crucial role in building new business and maintaining current accounts. The ideal candidate will have experience selling janitorial and sanitation products, specifically to VA Hospitals and government entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Using assigned cadence make outside contact with Veterans Affairs Medical Centers (VAMC) and DoD hospitals to establish contacts, educate on who GPS is, and make appointments for manufacturers.
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally to assist customers with placing orders, checking product availability, and providing accurate quotes.
- Utilize CRM to follow up/reach out to leads to generate new relationships and set meetings with Manufacturers Rep
- Listen to customer needs, offer suitable products, and provide pricing information to generate sales.
- Accurately enter customer orders into the system, ensuring all details are correct and complete.
- Proactively follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction with products and services and address any concerns or issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and order details.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance customer experience.
- Travel to customer sites may be needed on very rare occasions.
- Previous experience (5-8 years) in sales or customer service, preferably in a related industry.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and order processing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in sales or related field is a plus.
- Understanding of government contracts a plus
- Prior military service a plus
