About the Position: The intent of Inside Sales is to establish and strengthen professional relationships with prospects, leads, and existing customers to maintain and grow sales using technology as well as traditional relationship-building techniques.
Task and Duties:
- Conduct inside sales activities, including prospecting (cold calls) & developing opportunities, converting opportunities into sales closings, taking orders, understanding & interpreting technical requirements, providing technical information as necessary, and developing accounts.
- Nurture existing customer relationships to increase market share.
- Maintain cooperative relationships with other departments in the company as needed to ensure efficient, expedient sales processing to achieve customer satisfaction and to meet monthly sales goals
- Serve as a liaison between customers and branch staff to effectively solve problems and enhance customer satisfaction
- Complete orders by transferring orders to fulfillment, communicating expected delivery date(s), and explaining stock-outs.
- Sell in both 1:1 and 1: many situations
- Identify challenges that clients and prospects experience and develop action plans to address them
- Communicate with decision makers (typically Director level+)
- Collaborate with the sales team to update/enhance email templates, excel reports and sequences
- Update the CRM database with all sales activities
- Provide a high degree of major account management and control
- In-depth knowledge of the company's products and/or services
- Make 30 daily customer calls, plus additional follow-up calls
- Each Monday, support the Call Center by answering inbound customer service calls, taking orders, answering questions, and resolving customer issues.
- Foster a world-class customer service culture by building customer trust and taking ownership of all customer issues
- Assist sales management in conveying customer needs to district managers and technical support staff
- Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in training opportunities
- Utilize apartment management software for processing of invoices and bid opportunities.
- Review vendor agreements as well as other apartment management contracts
- Provide daily reports for select customers
- Other duties as assigned by management
Education and Experience:
- Minimum high school diploma or GED
- 5 years of customer service experience meeting sales goals or 2 years in an outbound call center or a related sales position preferred
- Effective customer relation skills
- Excellent listener who demonstrates emotional intelligence with customers and peers
- Team oriented, yet able to work well independently
- Driven, energetic, and results-oriented, with a strong work ethic
- Skilled in negotiating, closing, and prospecting
- Organized and deadline-focused
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- General computer proficiency, including data entry, as well as the Microsoft Office suite of applications and CRM software such as ZOHO

- Comfortable working in a competitive, results-driven environment
- Industry-specific knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual a plus
- Ability to pass drug test
