Inside Sales; Parts Coordinator at American VULKAN Corp.

Pay Range $17 to $20 hourly (DOE)

Requisites

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• This position reports directly to the Parts Department Manager.
• This position is considered regular, full-time, and requires a minimum in-office schedule of 40 hours per week.
• 3 years related experience (preferred on marine/power generation industries).

 Responsibilities

• Consult with customers to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
• Communicate and provide information to supervisors and co-workers by telephone, in written form, email and in person.
• Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken.
• Maintain customer information such as contract forms, contact names, change of address records, phone numbers, email addresses and new account information.
• Enter, record, store, or maintain information in electronic/magnetic form.
• Prepare customer invoices for the electronic file and the shipping department.
• Answer customer questions about products, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
• Correspond with customers regarding information of production progress and costs.
• Confer with sales team for required information to process purchase orders.
• Discuss use and features of various parts, based on knowledge of machines or equipment.

Other Requisites

• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Must agree to (and pass) a background check, physical (if applicable), and drug screening testing.
• Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.
• Experience in reading instructional manuals and technical drawings preferred.
