About the Job
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAn inside sales manager is responsible for driving revenue growth through the effective management and leadership of a team of inside sales representatives. They must be able to analyze sales data and market trends to identify new business opportunities, and to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to build strong relationships. · Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures · Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that expands the company's customer base and ensures its strong presence · Manage and lead a team of inside sales representatives, providing coaching and mentoring to help them achieve their targets and goals · Monitor sales metrics (e.g. revenue, number of sales calls, conversion rates, etc.) to track the team's performance and identify areas for improvement · Set targets and quotas for the team and ensure they are met or exceeded · Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth and seamless sales process, from lead generation to order fulfillment · Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders · Analyze market trends and competition to identify new business opportunities and strategies · Manage team of 10 plus reps in multiple locations · Some light travel to various branch locations as needed Qualifications and Education Requirements· Proven experience as an inside sales manager, preferably in the home service industry · Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team to · achieve their goals · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with · clients and stakeholders · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to identify opportunities and make informed decisions · Knowledge of CRM software and sales reporting tools · Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; or multiple years of successful results in inside sales management. Required Skills· Ability to perform the essential job functions, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards safely and successfully · Regular and punctual attendance · Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone · Strong leadership and team management skills, as well as a deep understanding of sales processes and tools, are essential for success in this role. · Some proficiency in basic computer skills (excel, word, Zoom, Teams, CRM) Physical Requirements· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. · Potential light lifting. |
