About the Job
This position is responsible for overall sales and service products in assigned territories. The Inside Sales Manager typically handles multiple territories at one time. Provides technical support and educates customers in the selection of the appropriate products for the required application. Familiarity with plastics technology, mechanical machining techniques, distribution channels, and various industrial market segments are assets for a potential candidate.
In addition, the position provides input and participates in the marketing, market planning, and technical development of products and services.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provides sales-related information and samples to customers.
- Targets customers and prospects for growth and educates distributors on the uses of products.
- Developing sales strategies in conjunction with distribution partners, outside territory managers, and National Sales Manager.
- Performing outbound sales calls to existing and new businesses.
- Provides status reports to leadership as required.
- Responds to requests for quotes daily, setting pricing levels and pursuing sales strategies.
- Determines best distribution partner to channel sales leads to maximizing territory sales performance.
- Works within a team to answer incoming calls.
- Provides input regarding sales strategies during sales meetings.
- Maintains statistical information for the preparation of reports and presentations required by the Company and/or customer.
- Practices good housekeeping and safety habits, supports and follows company policies and procedures, and performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s or associate degree from an accredited institution.
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communications skills, and the ability to interact and work effectively within the organization and with customers.
- Must be able to effectively use commercial software tools to execute job requirements, provide analytics, establish and maintain records, provide reports and presentations, and other information as required.
- Must be able to be a self-starter in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to collaborate with distributors to identify product needs.
- Must be able to respond and adjust to the needs of the business that ensures timely delivery of the product to the customer.
- Excellent problem solving, team building, and project management skills.
EDUCATION/TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering with more than five years of sales experience.
Minimum Requirements
- Three to Five years of general sales experience.
