Job Summary
As an Inside Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and assisting customers with technical inquiries related to our manufacturing products. You will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, reading blueprints, and providing technical solutions to meet their needs.

Essential Job Function
- Develops a core understanding of products lines within the company and their related applications.
- Obtains an understanding of customer needs, design, and value drivers.
- Gains necessary knowledge to properly estimate product costs in order to prepare customer quotes.
- Works to understand the design and engineering behind the products with capabilities of interpreting blueprints and product specifications.
- Achieves an understanding of the manufacturing processes involved in order to produce company products.
- Works with the Purchasing team to understand cost factors related to material and component purchases.
- Establishes relationships with the Customer Service team in order to comprehend typical customer to business communications and needs.
- Learns the Quality function as it relates to testing, product tolerances, documentation, certification and ISO compliance where applicable.
- Develops the ability to manage new and existing customer accounts with the capability of uncovering and identifying new business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Customer-focused with a sales-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Tools For Sales Support And Documentation.
- Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field (e.g., mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering) or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years in customer service and/or technical engineering role in manufacturing setting.
