Inside Sales - Customer Support Representative

Office location – Altoona, PA Area

Local wholesale and distribution company is seeking a detail oriented, organized, and customer focused individual to processes inbound order requests to meet customer expectations and solicits sales from current and prospective accounts.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be highly motivated and able to perform each essential duty in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a sales department
• Experience with computerized inventory tracking system preferred
• Highly proficient level computer skills including MS Office and navigational research skills
• Adaptable and dependable in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to learn new products and systems
• Able to manage multiple task
• Professional communication, written and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Responsibilities:

• Answer inbound telephone inquiries/requests from customers
• Makes outbound calls to customers to ask for orders and for additional sales
• Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of current products
• Place orders as requested by customers and the company’s outside sales representatives
• Accurately Input relevant customer/sales information into software tracking system
• Provide product specifications and answer product related questions

Schedule / Benefit Overview:

• Hourly position plus inside sales bonus offered after 30 days of service (Average $50K to $55K annually)
• Hours: 8:00am- 5:00pm Monday-Friday and every third Saturday 8am-Noon
• Health, Vision & Dental coverage eligible the first of the month after 60 days of service
