This role involves managing timelines, optimizing processes, and fostering seamless communication with Costco, other retail customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Project Timelines: Develop and manage detailed timelines to ensure retail and supplier projects stay on track and meet deadlines.
- Process Development: Create and implement efficient workflows and procedures to enhance project outcomes and streamline communication.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain clear and consistent communication with retail customers, suppliers, and internal teams via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
- Technical Excellence: Utilize Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and Outlook to organize project data, track updates, and communicate effectively.
- Market Research: Conduct research to gather competitive data and actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
- Collaboration: Coordinate team meetings and manage special office projects to ensure smooth operations and successful project execution.
- Problem-Solving: Anticipate challenges and devise strategic solutions to meet business needs.
Qualifications:
- Experience managing retail programs, especially for Costco and Costco.com, is a plus.
- Ability to create and manage detailed project timelines.
- Familiarity with Costco’s processes, supplier paperwork, and timelines is highly preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Suite, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven experience engaging with retail buying teams and suppliers.
Preferred Attributes:
- A self-starter who enjoys taking ownership of tasks and seeing them through to completion.
- Established relationships with major retail buying teams are a big plus.
- Adaptable, proactive, and eager to improve processes and systems.
- Resides within a 20-30 minute commute to the office for reliability and collaboration.
