Summary:
This position coordinates sales support activity including bid boards, equipment take-offs, Cyberselect quote assistance, submittal/proposal generation, and order management follow-up as needed.
This position coordinates sales support activity including bid boards, equipment take-offs, Cyberselect quote assistance, submittal/proposal generation, and order management follow-up as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures bid board is updated to include interested contractors and bid details
- Confirms equipment take-offs and proposals are accurately completed in advance of bid for review and approval
- Coordinates interested bidders/representatives
- Issues approved bid proposals and cut sheets
- Prepares and issues equipment submittal data for record/approval using Cyberselect
- Maintains won-loss reports/trends for Sales Operations
- Maintains bid board/project log
- Updates status and confidence of quote log to ensure accurate demand planning
- Maintains customer profiles and contact information
- Enters data into SAP
- Works with Sales/Key Accounts, Customer Service, Application Engineering, and Product Support teams to coordinate customer info, application, and field support requests
- Maintains product knowledge through regular sales training
- Conduct sales training for Cyberselect
- Cyberselect rep user account management
- Document work process for area of responsibility
- Other duties as assigned
- Must be able to comprehend design specifications, HVAC equipment schedules, blueprints, and electrical schematics/wiring diagrams
- Must be able to interpret purchase orders and subcontracts
- Must be able to research technical information and follow-up with logical conclusions

- Ability to learn SAP and become a highly effective ERP operator
- Familiar and proficient with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and technical writing skills
- Must have a clean driving record and a valid driver's license
- Four-year undergraduate degree or two-year degree, or applicable industry experience in technical sales or fields such as estimating, project management, or trades.
- Background in HVAC or data center construction/cooling is preferred.
