Icelandirect is a contract manufacturer and private label supplement company that makes high-quality premium fish oil supplements, vitamins, and fish oil emulsions in a variety of TG and EE concentrations.
We are a top omega product supplier in the United States. Our products are GMP-compliant and can be produced as emulsions, supplements, powders, softgels, liquid-packaged, or capsules.
We deliver bulk material orders and custom formulations. Many of our manufactured products are listed on Amazon and other high profile distribution channels.
Responsibilities
- Act as a first line technical representative to customer during initial contact and qualify customer needs. Follow-up on all aspects of requests, both written and verbally. Match Nutrapak/Icelandirect products/capabilities/services to customer requirements.
- Actively seeks and identifies leads using internet, referrals, industry articles, associations, etc.
- Nurtures and grows existing customer base; negotiates and closes sales
- Implements yearly sales budgets and drives for exceeding results in terms of sales, pricing and margin management, and portfolio leverage at existing and new accounts.
- Performs proactive, outbound sales activities such as: post sales customer follow-up and promotional campaigns to existing customers, prospects and leads
- Maintains lead and customer data/records including updating all activities, contacts and correspondence within internal sales tools (CRM)
- High volume customer contact via phone and e-mail
Experience
- 3-5 years
- Proven sales experience in the dietary supplement industry preferred but not mandatory
- Telephone sales and cold calling experience strongly required
Education
- Bachelor's degree or above
- Or equivalent experience in Sales or Business related field
Skills Required
- Excellent customer service, organizational and negotiating skills
- Detail oriented with good written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent telephone communication skills
- Computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products, internet, CRM or Salesforce, Analytical skills
- Ability to work both independently and as a team player in a close-knit sales team
- Full proficiency in English
