Inside Sales Consultant - Dallas, TX area
Position type and expected hours of work: Full time position, typically 8am to 5pm, with an hour lunch break. Additional hours may be required when duties demand.
Summary: As Sales Coordinator you will be multitasking by answering incoming calls while also maintaining regular outbound calls and emails to targeted prospects. You will quickly qualify customers, listen to their needs and requirements, and then see if Denali can assist them by recycling their organics into feed, fuel or fertilizer. You will often be the first person at Denali to help people achieve their sustainability goals.

Essential functions:
- Exhibit a positive, friendly, and helpful attitude with prospects and customers and assist with their needs.
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and out-bound cold calls and emails.
- Establish and maintain customer relationships. Learn and evaluate customer operations to aid in identifying customer objectives, requirements, and preferences.
- Fielding of website generated service requests.
- Generates recycling proposals for prospects.
- Record all activities in our CRM, Salesforce.com.
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate outside sales team member for closure when working on joint opportunities.
- Close orders and achieve quarterly quota targets.
Competency:
- Proven inside sales experience.
- Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening and presentation skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Must have knowledge and skill in utilization of computer databases.
- Experience working with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM.
- Previous experience with business-to-business customer support.
- General knowledge of the used cooking oil market and/or experience in restaurant, food manufacturing or agricultural is a plus.
- Being Bilingual is a PLUS Spanish, Filipino, Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin, Thai, Japanese or Vietnamese.
Work environment: Temperature, noise level, inside or outside, or other factors that will affect the person's working conditions while performing the job.
Physical demands:
- Prolonged sitting at a desk and working on a computer, answering a phone.
- Ability to travel if needed.
- Must be able to exchange accurate, concise, and consistent information.
- When onsite, must be able to stand for extended periods of time (can be up to 100% of the time)
- Will be required to left at least 20 pounds.
Travel: Travel may be expected with this position.
Preferred education and experience:
- High School Diploma (bachelors degree preferred) with 5+ years of proposal generation and customer support experience.
- Alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments in the recycling industry.
