Adecco is assisting a customer in Bloomfield who is recruiting for an inside sales position. The hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. The starting rate of pay is 52,000 annually.
Job Responsibilities include:
The Inside Sales Associate works with a dedicated Sales Engineer along with our suppliers to
ensure our customers’ needs are met. The Inside Sales Associate is responsible for entering
purchase orders, checking and verifying pricing, ordering parts, setting up Bill of Materials
(BOMS) and offering basic technical help to our customers. The Inside Sales Associate reports
to the Inside Sales Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Provides technical and non-technical assistance to customers and salespeople.
? Generates product quotations for customers and salespeople.
? Handles incoming calls & emails of technical nature from the customer, including but
not limited to taking orders, repair & services inquiries, standard product application
assistance and quotation requests.
? Creates lasting and successful relationships with customers, vendors and
salespeople.
? Reviews all incoming PO’s to verify that all order requirements can be met.
? Negotiates prices with vendors.
? Maintains customer account information & project files.
? Works with accounting department, i.e. credit applications, payments and questions
on invoices.
? Provides appropriate documentation to customers, i.e. certificates of compliance,
drawings, literature requests, etc.
? Reviews orders for on-time delivery status and update customer if delivery dates
change; tracking and expediting shipments as necessary.
? Maintains an understanding of our marketplace including industry changes and
competitor updates.
? Obtains all information on RMA’s to determine if part can be sent back.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
? High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
? Strong organizational and time management skills.
? Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
? Ability to take initiative, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced team environment.
? Proficient in ERP software (TrulinX preferred), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,
SharePoint)
? Intermediate knowledge and understanding of Bill of Materials

? Ability to sit for long periods

Pay Details: $52,000.00 per year
