Formula Corp, a privately held manufacturer of industrial cleaning chemical products, personal care products in Auburn, WA is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to join our team.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Primary point of contact for existing customer accounts.
- Resolve customer concerns in an expeditious and tactful manner.
- Understand and respond to customer needs by interfacing with internal personnel and departments.
- Review pricing, adjust and communicate to customers when appropriate.
- Clarity and fulfill customer requests and needs by presenting various options.
- Assist or lead project management initiatives to ensure customer needs are met.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Previous experience in the Industrial & Institutional Janitorial chemical industry is plus.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED), Prior sales experience helpful.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have at minimum a basic knowledge of computer and/or accounting systems and principals. Successful candidates will have strong Microsoft Outlook skills and basic MS Word and MS Excel knowledge. SharePoint experience is a plus. Chempax ERP experience is a plus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to walk, talk and hear and occasionally stand. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
Hours and Benefits:
Full Time - 8:00am to 4:30pm M-F, 90 day probation period. Benefits include paid vacation, major medical, HSA, 401K. Pay range is $23-$29/hr depending on experience.
