SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: As the Inside Sales Application Engineer, you'll excel in providing top-tier customer service, guiding clients through equipment selection and technical queries via phone and email. You'll spearhead quote generation, lead follow-ups, and develop strong relationships with both dealerships and customers. This role will report directly to the Mining Market Manager in the Mining Pump Sales Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answers customers' questions concerning the correct selection of Cornell equipment. Requires extensive phone and email work with excellent customer satisfaction and communication skills
- Acquire, interpret, and apply technical pump information (BOM, Curves, Dimensions) to assist customers with the selection of pump models
- Write and input general sales quotes and sales orders
- Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and prepares sales orders
- Follow up with potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services
- Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers
- Provides product demos (cutaways/display pumps) to qualified customers on request
- Project Management of large projects as required
- Maintain productive and professional rapport with Cornell dealerships and their personnel; maintain a productive and professional rapport with fellow Cornell employees
- Performs prospective dealer visits, represents Cornell at dealer-conducted functions, represents Cornell at tradeshows and other marketing functions
- Occasional travel to customer's locations and trade shows as required
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering or materials science from a four-year college or university
- One to two years related to Inside Sales experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
