Position Overview:
Storm Creek is seeking driven sales professionals with a growth mindset who want to work for one of the best and fastest-growing eco-made apparel companies.
As an Inside Sales Account Manager, you'll play a crucial role in driving new account sales and growing market share with our current B2B customers across both corporate and retail/resort sectors. This inside sales role is a vital link to our customers and outside sales reps, requiring excellence in communication, efficiency in delivering information, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Essential Job Functions:
Sales Process, Activity & Metrics:
- Achieve sales goals through execution of the Storm Creek Sales Process, including discovery calls, targeted outreach, virtual presentations, samples, and product demonstrations.
- Build and strengthen B2B customer relationships to grow accounts year over year.
- Identify and act upon sales opportunities, efficiently and accurately quote, and follow up to close deals.
- Place outbound calls and handle inbound call leads, engage in account-specific social platforms, and actively connect with customers on LinkedIn to share content.
- Serve as the main point of contact for retail buyers regarding product information, pricing, inventory, and project solutions.
- Review all future retail orders and manage clarifications, drops, and substitutions once Storm Creek purchases are finalized.
- Work with the customer operations team to oversee order execution, including decoration; understand fulfillment guidelines and direct customer service and warehouse teams accordingly; monitor and communicate with customers on all ship/cancel dates.
Account Plans & Quarterly Business Reviews:
- Identify top accounts and provide input on sales goals within your territory.
- Develop account-specific strategic plans using the standard template and execute them accordingly.
- Conduct quarterly business reviews on each account plan to ensure alignment with yearly goals.
- Develop a thorough understanding of our product line to create the best solutions for our customers.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales on discounts, large quotes, and custom projects.
CRM Customer Data & Accuracy:
- Utilize CRM to manage accounts, document communication, and plan outreach.
- Record all deals/opportunities in the CRM to ensure a robust pipeline.
- Follow CRM standards to ensure all notes, account information, tasks, and communications are accurately recorded.
- Upload all trade show leads upon returning from shows and tag them appropriately.
- Occasionally create and review daily and monthly sales reports, call reports, and other necessary reports.
Territory Travel/Industry Engagement:
- Attend retail trade shows and other events, presenting products and the company in a professional manner.
- Participate in industry networking and community engagement.
- Track the success of trade shows by preparing expense estimates and tracking show ROI.
- Follow Storm Creek's sales trade show standards to prepare, pull the line, and ship materials, set up pre-meetings, and manage post-show follow-up.
- Uphold Storm Creek values and deliver exceptional service.
Multiline Rep Engagement:
- Strategize and communicate regularly with independent retail multi-line reps and sales support specialists in the territory to coordinate customer meetings/activity.
- Educate reps on Storm Creek policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.
- Provide reps with all sales tools needed to engage with customers, helping them prepare for sales meetings.
- Keep the Director of Sales informed of territory activity, rep needs, and questions.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of previous sales and account management experience with proven performance.
- Strong organizational skills with diligent follow-through.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management skills; able to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
- Professional, able to engage at all levels within an organization.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- CRM savvy, or an adept learner.
- Solid interpersonal skills enabling lasting customer relationships.
- Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven team player who can balance team and individual responsibilities.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Problem solver; able to think on your feet.
- Adaptable and flexible.
- Ability to travel as business needs require.

In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for commissions based on specific sales goals and objectives.
