Inside Account Executive - Small Business - SHI International Corp.

Job Summary:

The Inside Account Executive's purpose is to build a book of business and sell to SHI’s customers within an assigned region. The Inside Account Executive will profile accounts through cold calling and prospecting, while developing and maintaining customer relationships by understanding and creating pricing quotes for their IT product, solutions, and services needs.

 

This position is required to report to the SHI Austin, TX office location as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities:

Include, but are not limited to:

• Profile accounts through cold outreach and prospecting
• Establish and develop customer relationships via email and phone within assigned book(s) of business
• Help customers select, deploy and manage various aspects of their IT environment
• Quote and place orders based on customer requests
• Grow existing active buying accounts through profiling and managing projects through the entirety of the sales cycle
• Consistently hit daily and monthly activity goals: monthly meetings, monthly pipeline additions, and daily dials and talk time
• Retire monthly/quarterly production quota
• Facilitate customer meetings by proactively reaching out to customers and pre-scheduling the meeting with SHI internal resources
• Acquire and manage the IT needs of small- to medium-sized businesses while providing customers with a best-in-class customer experience
• Collaborate and co-sell with SHI internal resources
• Resolve customer inquiries, determine customer pain points and offer solutions to solve customer IT challenges
• Master utilization of internal sales systems and tools, including our customer relationship management (CRM), enterprise resource planning (ERP), ordering, sourcing, and quote creation tools
• Provide customers insight around industry leading technology and IT trends
• Keep updated on product and industry knowledge
• Attend product and sales trainings as required

Qualifications:

• Completed Bachelor’s Degree (College/University)
• Passion for customer outreach and delivering a personalized customer service experience
• Growth mind-set with a strong desire to learn new skills and processes
• Proficiency in business productivity tools (Microsoft) - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Additional Information:

• The estimated annual pay for this position ranges from $40,000 to $150,000, including base salary and commission. Compensation varies based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
