FTE: 1.0 FTE (Full-time, 40 hours per week)
Shifts: Monday -Friday 8a-4:30p, weekend and holiday rotations in Acute Care
*$7,500 Sign-on Bonus*

Responsibilities:Position Specific Accountability
· Evaluates and treats occupational therapy patients under physician orders
· Develops treatment plans for all patients assigned to case load
· Maintains appropriate documentation in the patient’s medical record
· Ongoing commitment to reducing costs and improving productivity in the occupational therapy department
· Maintains positive relationships with the health care team, patient and family
· Communicates effectively in writing and verbally with all appropriate members of the patient’s healthcare team
· Adheres to departmental and hospital policies and procedures
Qualifications:Education:
Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy
Experience:
Entry level/new graduate acceptable
License(s)/Certification(s):
Occupational Therapy licensure in Iowa or eligible for licensure in Iowa Valid Iowa Drivers License Maintains Basic Life Support certification Refer to Stroke Service policy for annual stroke education requirements
