Injection Molding Operator - AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking an Injection Molding Operator for a Contract job with a client in Dublin, OH. The ideal candidate is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the efficient operation of molding machines, while reporting issues to correct inefficiencies.

 

Rate Range: $16/hour to $17.50/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Injection Molding Operator job responsibilities include:

• Monitoring and operating assigned molding machines to ensure they run efficiently and meet production targets.

• Reporting and troubleshooting any issues with molding presses, ensuring any faults are quickly addressed to minimize downtime.

• Maintaining a clean and organized work area, following 5S and cleaning practices.

• Running manual molding machines as required and ensuring proper part handling, including trimming, separating, and weighing parts.

• Reviewing and following procedures to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards, including FDA and ISO regulations.

• Performing basic quality checks and ensuring that all products meet required quality standards.

• Reporting processing issues and deviations to the appropriate staff for resolution.

• Engaging in environmental, health, and safety initiatives to ensure a safe working environment.

• Collaborating with team members, including process technicians and quality control, to meet production goals.

• Handling scrap and runners, ensuring they are transferred to the grinding area.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• At least 1 year of experience in injection molding or a related manufacturing field.

• Knowledge of mechanical and electronic measurement and testing equipment preferred.

• Familiarity with FDA, ISO 13485, and other regulatory standards related to manufacturing operations.

Pay Details: $16.00 to $17.50 per hour
