CNC Machinist (Mill Operator)—Control Panel Manufacturing (35307) at Activ8

A controls and automation system manufacturer based out of Memphis, TN is seeking a CNC Machinist to support their operations. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of relevant schooling or experience, and a strong attention to detail.  

Responsibilities: 

• Set-up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines to produce precision components to engineering specifications 

• Read blueprints for project specifications 

• Use AutoCAD to draft and design layouts 

• Conduct sample runs and adjust settings to maintain high standards of quality  

• Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot malfunctions 

• Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors to coordinate activities and maintain safety 

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or GED 

• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word/Excel 

• Ability to read blueprints and schematics for project specifications 

• Minimum two (2) years of relevant experience 

• Experience with electronics assembly a plus
