Title: Clinical Pharmacist Specialist - Oncology Infusion 

Position Overview:

As a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist, you'll lead in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care, ensuring patient-centered clinical services, medication information, and education. Your role encompasses medication preparation, distribution, and overseeing safe, effective, and cost-efficient medication therapy. Employing sound judgment and advanced clinical skills, you'll contribute to and implement patient care plans promptly based on diagnoses. Collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare providers, coupled with adept patient assessment and communication, will be essential. Your adherence to regulations will ensure optimal patient care, and you may also train and guide department staff.

Job Description:

Education: Doctorate from an accredited School of Pharmacy

Certification & Licensure: PHARMD - Licensed Pharmacist or PHARMR - Registered Pharmacist

Typical Experience: 2 years of recent relevant experience

Skills and Knowledge:

• Proficiency in medical terminology, pharmaceutical calculations, and laws and regulations
• Expertise in Pharmacy practice settings, including narcotic procedures
• Familiarity with legal requirements and accreditation standards
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Efficient time management and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office Suite, EHR, EPIC, and pharmaceutical technology
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and within a team
