Infrastructure Support Engineer at Alexander Technology Group

The Alexander Technology Group is looking for an Infrasructure Support Engineer for our client based in Waltham MA. This is an exciting opportunity for someone that wants to expand their experience and wear many hats within a growing company! Our client is looking for someone who has strong troubleshooting abilities, is adaptable, has supported end users both in person and remotely, has virtualization experience & enterprise level networking exposure. 50% of this role will be project work and the other 50% will be providing support. 

Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain network infrastructure (Storage/Fabrics, Virtualization, Servers, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Cloud, Wireless, etc)
Network and Systems Monitoring and Configuration management
Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting at all levels.
Endpoint and Network Security
Systems and server administration (MacOS, Windows, Linux)
Patching, Upgrades, backups, and disaster recovery planning

This role is contract to hire and will be onsite in Waltham MA. Due to time restrictions, only candidates local to the area will be considered.
