Role Title: Infrastructure Security Engineer
Role Location: Greenbelt, MD
Citizenship / Clearance Requirements: US Citizen (Must be able to attain a government security clearance)
Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree + 10 years' of experience

Role Description: The Infrastructure Security Engineer provides security engineering support for the design, development and deployment of an infrastructure that includes cloud and on premise environments. The infrastructure will include solutions for endpoint security, intrusion detection, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and Intrusion Detection. This individual is responsible for planning, designing and implementing tools, technologies and methods that meet Federal security control requirements. The Infrastructure Security Engineer provides subject matter expertise throughout the system development lifecycle to ensure that the infrastructure maintains a strong security posture capable of countering current and emerging threats. This individual demonstrates core technical capabilities in infrastructure security and holds industry recognized certifications. This individual participates in strategic planning and collaborates with cross-functional teams.
Minimum Required Skills/Experience:
• Proficient in infrastructure and network technologies.
• Experience deploying security solutions for federal organizations, including expertise with federal frameworks (FISMA,NIST, etc.)
• Demonstrated understanding of IT management, administration, applications and system development lifecycles within a substantial IT environment.
• Knowledge of security architecture frameworks (such SABSA, ToGAF, Zachman)
• Relevant knowledge of current and emerging technologies.

Deep technical and security exposure core technologies including, Cloud, Digital, Data Protection, User Management, Digital Mobility, Application Security, Event Management, and CDM
10 full-time years of experience providing security engineering for federal systems
• Need experience 2 years' experience deploying security solutions to include at least one of the following: SEIM tools, firewalls, IDSs and endpoint security ( ex. Splunk, Trend Micro, Tanium, Palo Alto Firewalls)
• Cloud (AWS) background is highly preferred
• Industry-recognized security certification preferred (CISSP, tool specific certs)
