Racks,Power/cooling,Cabling,Core switches/routers,Access/edge LAN,WAN accelerators, Packet Shapers, RAS, F5,Firewall/network security,SAN technologies,Nutanix and Vblock hyperconverged infrastructure.

- A working knowledge of Infra QA/testing experience
- Experience testing IT Core services a plus
- Proven ability to be productive and flexible team member in a fast paced environment
- Familiarity with Core Services (AD, FTP, Netcool, LDAP, Build Farm, SMTP, Weblogic, etc.)
- Have good documentation, verbal and written communication skills to interact with cross functional IT team
- Familiarity with IP networking, protocols, storage, networking appliances and tools
- At least 2 to 4 years-experience in helping with IT Infrastructure or Software testing
- Able to develop test templates, documentation, processes, and deliver results with some direction from the team
- Work within an autonomous, quick learner, flexible and take self-initiative for requisite work
- Work closely with project team members (e.g. System Admin, Engineers, Vendors, Project Managers) to get a deep understanding of the core services under test and assist with identify Test cases and Acceptance checklist needs
- Actively participate and recommend in defining test effort, test case specifications and/or test procedures
The resources need an understanding of validation/quality assurance from a data-center build perspective. The team will interview Toyota infrastructure engineers in all of the above areas in order to gain feedback in independently categorizing groups of infrastructure/core services and subsequently define detailed implementation/testing checklist for each of these areas. These resources will facilitate quality assurance activities as infrastructure and core service validation take place as the new data center is built out, including reporting out overall status and coordinating communication. Some travel between Torrance, Plano and Erlanger may occasionally take place.
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required.
