Responsibilities:
Manage multiple IT infrastructure projects IT (servers, laptops, mobile devices), communication (LAN, WAN, email, VOIP, etc.), backup, security systems, disaster recovery (DR), regulatory compliance concurrently.
Ensures high availability of critical business systems
Owns and maintains overall backup and recovery strategy (Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity) and maintains data/system backups and recoverability
Plan, direct, coordinate and review the work assigned team members; assigns work activities, projects and programs; reviews and evaluates work products, methods and procedures; meets with team members to identify and resolve problems.
Champion IT infrastructure standards, procedures, policies, and best practices for network, servers, databases, wireless technology, file & print services, VOIP, etc.
Create and ensures processes and procedures are in place and executed to meet SOX, PCI and regulatory compliance controls.
Works with business operations teams to ensure IT change management procedures are followed without impacting business processes.
Builds and maintains relationships with other IT and business leaders to understand business needs and provide cost-effective delivery of IT services to meet those needs
Assess new external and internal technology capabilities such as cloud technologies, and help implement and integrate them with the existing IT operations environment
Provide strategic direction for IT Infrastructure and End user service delivery, including ITSM, and guide team to implement best practices via Service Now
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of IT experience with 5 years of progressive management experience
Must have a working knowledge of Windows Servers, Active Directory, and MS SQL, core Network/Cisco technologies like LAN/WAN, subnets, firewalls, VLAN's, and VPN, SDN, UCCE, and Cyber-Security tools such as Cisco Iron Port and Umbrella
Experience with on premise and public cloud environment such as AWS or Azure
Certifications in Microsoft/Cisco/Citrix/ VMware technologies preferred
ITIL or PMI Certification is preferred
Willing and capable of hands-on technical trouble-shooting, if required
Ability to interact and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization
Must be very proactive in understanding and staying up-to-date on the current projects in progress, projects in pipeline and operational issues.
Demonstrated ability to deliver on complex projects on time and on budget
Proven ability to run a highly-effective support organization delivering high quality services
Deep and broad understanding of modern computing technology, systems and network architecture, data management, information security, and cloud-based services
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent preferred
