Title: Global Infrastructure Sr. Program Manager for Data Center Transformation
Location: Whitehouse Station, NJ
1 Year Contract
Primarily directed by the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) team which is focused on delivering services across a wide range of shared technology disciplines – notably Cloud Services. Requires collaboration with IT, Security, Third Party Risk Management, Compliance, Privacy, Legal and a consulting firm to create a framework for a multi discipline Cloud Governance program.
4 Key Components of Program:
1. Data Center Location RFP
2. Network Fabric Vendor Selection
3. Core Infrastructure Design and Buildout
4. Workload Migration Rationalization and overall coordination
Data Center RFP Deliverables:
• Selection of Colocation space and contractual negotiation coordination
• Coordination of requirements gathering for space planning
• Coordination of infrastructure design, space readiness and implementation activities
Network Fabric Vendor Selection
• Scheduling and coordination of vendor evaluations and selection process
• Working with selected VARs for low level design deliverables and hardware procurement dates
• Schedule and coordinate working closely with engineering teams the implementation timelines of the hardware in the new DC facility
Core Infrastructure Design and Approach
• Work closely with DC Infrastructure engineering to coordinate the scheduling and phasing of the new space
• Coordinate the various aspects of the infrastructure build out for the new colocation facility
Workload Migration Strategy and Approach
• Work closely with infrastructure IT and application owners to inventory list of applications for the migration effort
• Coordinate the rationalization and application dependency requirements to facilitate the move to the new DC facility
• Schedule and coordinate the phases of the migration along with testing requirements and the scheduling of the cutovers
Reason for Position: Required due to current project manager resource constraints and missing skill set and experience with Data Center Transformation programs.
Expectation that PM will manage own time to:
Coordinate and oversee the delivery elements of our Data Center Transformation program which meets architectural, security, business & technical requirements.
Oversee and coordinate the day-to-day technical activities required to achieve the above, involving partnership with consulting partner and interaction with Operations team, Engineering, Architecture, Security, Application Teams, and external vendors. Work with stakeholders in multiple regions and time zones.
Be responsible for the administration and production of PMO project documentation.
Assess project risks in an informed and considered manner and plan for their mitigation.
As required, escalate any residual impediments to delivery and ensure that they are remediated.
Track progress against milestones, deadlines and budget. Report on these items to key stakeholders and provide new or updated dependency information into Shared Services and PMO Management.
Provide support and assistance in the promotion and wider rollout of a Cloud governance program.

Candidate Requirements
8+ years experience in Infrastructure Project and Program Management
Experience managing large-scale (***k+) infrastructure projects
Experience working in a formalized PMO structure, preferably with a Fortune 500 company
Recent experience with direct project management of projects (responsible for all PM tasks, not merely overseeing other PM's doing the hands-on work).
Azure cloud knowledge and experience
Agile/SAFe certified preferred
4yr college degree
