Job Summary
This role is to take ownership of the Infrastructure services, ensuring all systems are built to best practise design, taking into account usability, supportability, cost management and Security. To p rovide leadership and guidance on the BAU support and Projects for all Tier 3 activities and be the Lead for Tier 3 Infrastructure on all audits including client, and security.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Lead the T3 team on delivering BAU support, including ticket management, documentation etc.
• Responsible for ensuring all systems are running at a cost effective level to meet the needs of the business
• Responsible for ensuring all certifications are maintained, any NCRs closed out
• Direct and lead the Technical direction of the Infrastructure for Maximus UK across all platforms
• Ensure the T3 teams are trained to a technical level commensurate with their abilities and role expectations
• Perform all team management functions required including regular reviews, objective setting and management
• Ownership of Microsoft licensing, working with the business and approvers to ensure appropriate levels of licensing are maintained and the business remains covered
Salary ranges
Non-London £63,000 - £68,000
London £68,000 - £73,000
Whilst this role is predominately remote, there is an expectation to travel to meetings in London or Leicester as and when required.
Qualification & Experience
• Degree level or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• Proven experience as Infrastructure Manager or similar role for at least 5 years, managing and leading a technical team
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, Primarily Azure and AWS with relevant certifications
• Experience with audits (SOC2, ISO27001, SOX, CE+)
• Excellent knowledge of DevOps and Agile delivery methods
• Excellent understanding and familiarity with ITIL
• Experience in working with and managing 3rd party providers of service
