Title: Infrastructure Lead
Location: Regional Northeastern United States (Hybrid)
Employment Type: Contract
Description:
• The Infrastructure Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating infrastructure requirements for various enterprise technology projects, including customer relationship management, asset management, workforce management, and customer information systems.
• This role includes provisioning, configuring, and maintaining hardware, software, servers, and connectivity solutions while ensuring adherence to organizational policies and security standards.
• The Infrastructure Lead works collaboratively to enhance system performance and reliability across corporate and business unit environments.
Required Skills:
• 3–5 years of experience as an IT Systems Administrator.
• 5+ years of IT experience with certifications in VMware, directory services (e.g., Active Directory/LDAP), cloud services (e.g., Azure), and systems administration.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field with a focus on network engineering.
• Professional certifications (e.g., VMware Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator) are a plus.
• Strong technical documentation and explanation skills, with proficiency in diagramming tools like Visio.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience working with vendors and consultants to resolve technical challenges.
• Willingness to travel occasionally as required by the business.
Desired Skills:
• Proficiency in maintaining virtual server environments, such as Hyperflex and UCS.
• Experience implementing security protocols, such as SSL certificates and single sign-on solutions.
• Knowledge of network security practices and performance monitoring.
• Ability to install and update operating systems and manage end-user software deployments.
• Skilled in managing hybrid environments with on-premises and cloud-based systems.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $39-$56
