Title: Infrastructure Lead
Location: Midwest Region, USA
Employment Type: Full-Time/Perm
Description:
• Analyze, design, configure, and implement new and upgraded components for existing network and server infrastructure.
• Perform technology lifecycle tasks, including evaluation, planning, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring, ensuring systems exceed performance expectations.
• Provide leadership and support for infrastructure and application teams in diverse industries.
• Act as a hands-on contributor and project lead for small teams, delivering exceptional technology support and infrastructure management.
Key Duties:
• Architect and design network and system infrastructure to meet organizational needs.
• Propose and implement enhancements to optimize performance and address technical challenges.
• Diagnose and resolve network and server issues.
• Develop and standardize communication protocols, policies, and procedures.
• Lead and contribute to technology projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and client goals.
• Perform system audits, maintenance, and updates, including patches and upgrades.
• Support cybersecurity initiatives to safeguard data integrity and security.
• Provide off-hours support when necessary to minimize operational disruptions.
Required Skills:
• 5 to 8 years of progressive leadership experience in IT.
• 3+ years managing and developing technical teams.
• Hands-on experience with technologies such as virtualization, productivity suites, remote desktop services, and network infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards.
Desired Skills:
• Experience as a systems administrator, network engineer, or software developer.
• Proficiency in deploying and managing cloud services and platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to navigate ambiguous situations.
• Effective communication and customer service experience, including interactions with executive-level stakeholders.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $77000-$110000
