Apex Systems is currently hiring a Technology Reliability Engineer with a leading financial institution in Midvale, UT. We are thrilled to partner with a prominent financial institution that is a key player in the banking industry. The Technology Reliability Engineering and Operations (TREO) organization is a key information technology group supporting our valued internal and external customers. TREO aligns up through the Chief Technology Officer and provides IT services such as hosting, security operations, application, voice, business intelligence infrastructure, collaboration services, and end user support. We focus on both operating and innovating our services to ensure continuous efficiency and modernization. Our team is comprised of both full-time employees and contingent workers spread across 15+ states and three countries. Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge and experience with Windows server operating systems, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Effectively communicate problems and solutions both verbally and in writing to internal customers and management.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows Server 2016, 2109, and 2022 operating systems with knowledge of systems maintenance experience in a MS Windows datacenter environment.
- Knowledge of Information Technology infrastructure components (firewall, database, operating system, network
- Problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve complex issues with innovative solutions.
- Strong IT server platform configuration management and diagnostic skills.
- Strong knowledge of system management tools, logical file systems, and client/server environments.
- Understanding of TCP/IP networks/topology, storage, and LAN/WAN systems and applications as well as their dependencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or other related field
- 2+ years experience with VMware virtualization technologies, system management tools, logical file systems, systems maintenance in a MS Windows datacenter environment and client/server environments or other directly related experience.
