Job Description:
Experience in Azure, Google, or AWS security components and capabilities
• Experience with virtual server management (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Experience with of retail application, preferably Aptos.
• Perform daily system administration operations to include configuration, administration and maintenance of Windows 2008/2012/2019 servers, Active Directory 2008, Exchange 2010.
• Provide technical guidance, software installation, software configuration and system troubleshooting on various systems: VMware, Windows, windows exchange, Antivirus, SharePoint, etc.
• Create and update desktop images, including establishment of one or more golden images.
• Develop/deploy tools and scripts to facilitate maintenance and administration.
• Provide ongoing server support including configuration, maintenance, patch management, security, backup, and restore.
• Evaluate operating system images, updates, security patches through configuration management tool. Review O365, user account, software licensing and mobile device management solutions. Evaluate upgrades and create documentation of infrastructure services.
• Strong technical understanding of CVSS, OWASP Top 10 and Vulnerability Exploitability ratings.
• Participates in the investigation and remediation of identified security alerts impacting
• infrastructure technology, end user computing devices, and servers.
• Assists in responding to audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
• Implement and consult secure design and configuration requirements of key IT system and
• infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Identify and prioritize areas of improvement to the security maturity of the infrastructure.
• Implementation, development, and integration of security solutions like Endpoint Protection,
• Endpoint Detection.
• Determines baseline security configuration standards for operating systems (e.g., operating
• system hardening), network segmentation.
• Validates that security and other critical patches to firmware and operating systems are
• configured and deployed in a timely fashion.
• Assist with the strategy towards development of a complete, accurate and valid inventory of all
• systems, infrastructure, and applications.
• Participate in proof of concepts and other technical evaluations of technologies, designs and
• solutions and provide recommendations.
• Participate in technical risk assessments and security exposure analyses of systems, networks
• and business applications.
• Stay up to date of trends, emerging technologies, changes to regulations.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure service designs and configurations are maintained in accordance with
• security standards.
• Work with Information Security and other teams to manage the security of on-prem and cloud
• environments.
• Act as escalation point for junior engineers and analysts, mentoring where needed.
• Excellent understanding of encryption fundamentals and process flows

• Understanding of TCP/IP protocols, subnetting, and routing
• Understanding of NIST Cyber Security Framework (CSF), CIS Top 20, and ISO 27001 controls
