About the Job
We are looking for a Project Manager who will be assigned to one or more of our client’s large book of cybersecurity projects that require project management best-practices and rigor to execute and successfully deliver on time and on budget.
Must Have:
• 10+ years of overall experience with at least 5+ years of demonstrated track record of leading and managing high visibility business and technology projects
• Demonstrated experience of working in matrixed organization to drive delivery and change
• Proficiency in Project Planning tools such as ADO Boards/Kanban, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Strong familiarity with PowerBI, MS Forms, and Power Automate
Education/Certification:
• Bachelor’s Degree required, PMP or Agile certification is a plus
Knowledge and Skills:
• Experience in Cybersecurity, Regulatory, or Audit-related projects with requisite understanding of terminology, expectations, and sensitivity of information
• Effective communicator – able to articulate ideas and information verbally and in writing; uses proper grammar and spelling in all written deliverables
• Proactive – takes initiative at suggesting process improvements and anticipates the needs of the Program and Project Managers they support
• Organized – able to handle multiple simultaneous work deliverables and prioritize them accordingly
• Analytical – able to assemble data and analyze patterns, trends and draw conclusions and recommendations; rely on data to guide decisions; have ability to perform data analysis on one's own to guide team forward
• Detail oriented – ensures accuracy with all deliverables
• Thorough – able to follow and establish processes, and identify critical steps and actions
• Intellectually Curious – ask questions to seek deeper understanding of the subject matter; do independent research to learn more about topics related to the work
• Deep project management expertise with ability to structure complex cross-functional initiatives to enable clarity, completeness, and speed of execution
• Dynamic relationship building and partnership skills; a strong collaborator with experience leading initiatives across multiple groups and stakeholders
• Empower the team to make decisions. Emphasis on team collaboration and sharing of ideas
• Appreciate team efforts often and publicly
Project Manager's Roles & Responsibilities:
• Manages execution of complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and/or ambiguous issues
• Drive hard-working global teams consisting of employees and onshore/offshore consultants from multiple vendors
• Manage projects with teams that consist of technology engineers, solution architects, business analysts, scrum masters, and application owners
• Partner with key business and technology stakeholders in the delivery of critical technology initiatives to meet our strategic goals
• Responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of Infosec projects
• Proactively identifies and mitigates risks that impact Infosec projects
• Change agent for project management best-practices
• Leads cross-functional teams to drive disciplined execution of strategic projects from initiation to completion
• Engages with leaders at different levels of the organization to define project objectives, build project plans with clear milestones, communicate progress, and drive consensus
• Simplify complex issues and identify creative solutions to drive to rapid issue resolution
• Anticipate project risks and escalate in a timely manner to drive decisions and/or course correction
• Displays a balanced, cross-functional perspective, liaising with the business to improve efficiency, effectiveness and productivity
• Communicate project roadmap in terms meaningful to both business and technology organizations to influence, educate and support the implementation of key business, digital and automation capabilities
