Become an Information Technology Operations Advisor - Digital Grid Services at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you’ll be responsible for supporting Digital Infrastructure & Integration Services Project and Operations support groups as a Portfolio Manager. You will support projects of varying size and complexity, which require you to make daily decisions associated with project health, vendor performance, portfolio financials, and risks / issues. You will ensure technology investments deliver positive business value and are directly associated with strategic Organizational Unit (OU) goals. You’ll partner and collaborate with multiple internal and external partners, at various levels of management including IT vendors, Cybersecurity, Change & Release Management, Service Management, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations. You’ll align multiple collaborators to assess performance against project plans, issue resolution, and escalation; effectively communicate with all levels of leadership.

Responsibilities
+ Maintains the performance and availability of applications and data systems including batch jobs, SQL Service Integration Services (SSIS), ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) jobs, and sync engines
+ Coordinates with cross-functional teams, including developers, IT, and business stakeholders, to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems
+ Performs root cause analysis for operational incidents and recommends preventive measures
+ Documents supporting policies, processes, and procedures within the areas of responsibility
+ Reviews the IT systems and performs daily routines to ensure stability and high availability
+ Ensures all incidents and requests are recorded and updated within the service desk system
+ Delivers incident resolution and articulates clearly and concisely with end-users and internal stakeholders
+ Manages software licenses, upgrades, and patches, ensuring all systems are up to date and compatible with business needs
+ Reviews, evaluates and recommends solutions related to hardware and software acquisitions and network updates
+ A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Seven or more years experience as an IT Administrator.
+ Maintains performance and availability of applications and data systems.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Five or more years of experience with IT portfolio management or product line management.
+ Seven or more years of experience handling budgets, service contracts, and maintenance contracts.
+ Seven or more years of experience leading or handling IT projects with balanced business and technical knowledge to provide credible leadership to multi-function project teams with at least 10-15 team members including Product Owners, Developers, Business Analysts, and QA Personnel.
+ Three or more years of experience leading project quality, including quality assurance, metrics, and quality controls.
+ Bachelors degree or higher in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related Technical major.
+ PMP or Project Management Certification, or equivalent combination of training and experience leading project management.
+ Six Sigma, COBIT, CSAM or equivalent certification(s).
+ ITIL Practitioner, CBCP, or equivalent certification(s).
Additional Information
+ This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.

+ This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties.
+ Relocation does not apply to this position.
