Job Summary
As an IT Generalist at Aetos Systems, you are responsible for performing the overall information systems support including but not limited to planning, implementation, troubleshooting as well as administrative activities in a variety of IT functional areas. Ideal candidates for are tech-savvy, have a solid understanding of cloud managed role-based access and working hand in hand with a managed service provider. Broad knowledge of information technologies is essential to the role.
This is a hybrid position.
Duties/Responsibilities
- IT Generalist duties include both administrative and technical support tasks throughout the workday. This includes handling local issues that the remote technical support staff could not resolve and troubleshooting specific systems errors and issues.
- IT Generalists also train support staff in the use of business systems required for remote employment activity.
- Provides operational infrastructure inventory, support, maintenance, troubleshooting to ensure optimum use of IT resources.
- Own the relationship and manage our MSP to ensure compliance and full system functionality.
- Involved in hardware/software/vendor selection, security, training, coordination, and scheduling of IT initiatives.
- Audit and confirm success of regular backups, storage, and retrieval functions of critical data.
- Troubleshoot and resolve computer and other IT equipment problems and malfunctions.
- Design and define role based security in the Azure cloud
- Manage administration of user accounts including email, remote access, etc. –
- Assist in setting-up and upgrading computer systems for end users.
- Define and structure SharePoint data architecture and policy around storage repositories.
- Ensure all IT systems are working efficiently and optimally across departments.
- Performs other related duties as required.
- Manage IT project implantation with our MSP and product support teams
- Define and document policies and procedures to support IT Compliance
- Support CMMC, CMMI, and ISO project compliance activities and maintenance.

Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Must be able to apply for a top secret security clearance
- Must be able to pass an initial and yearly random drug testing.
- Strong attention to detail for reporting and analytics
- Organizational and time-management skills with ability to work on multiple projects.
- Must be able to work well within guidelines with limited daily management
- Working knowledge in networking technology and security, and SharePoint data management.
- O365 GCC Cloud experience
- SharePoint, Teams Security Group Management and PowerShell scripting experience is preferred.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or technical training in a technology related field.
- Computer systems and integration experience is ideal
- Professional certifications directly offset college education requirements.
- Five years or more of Information Systems / Technology experience.
