About the Job
Key Responsibilities:
- Level II Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for IT and OT systems.
- User Training: Conduct training sessions on IT and OT systems, applications, and tools.
- System Administration: Manage user accounts, access control, security configurations, and software updates.
- Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders and vendors to identify and implement IT/OT solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of IT and OT assets, configurations, and procedures.
- Incident Management: Log and track incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution.
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT and OT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and OT devices.
- Security: Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain security measures.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose and support improvements to enhance IT/OT processes and system performance.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with external IT/OT vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Must-Haves:
- Experience: Preferred experience in OT support within a manufacturing environment.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of IT and OT systems, hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Troubleshooting: Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues in IT and OT domains.
- Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective user training and support.
- System Administration: Experience with user management and software updates.
- Network Knowledge: Understanding of network infrastructure setup, maintenance, and cybersecurity principles.
- Integration Skills: Familiarity with IT/OT integration and data exchange protocols (e.g., OPC, MQTT, RESTful APIs).
- Hardware Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of computer hardware, including legacy PC hardware and OS.
- Microsoft O365: Proficiency in Microsoft O365 applications (e.g., Outlook, OneDrive, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Requirements:
- Education: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or 2 years of Level II IT support experience.
